This lady is a once in a lifetime teacher! SHE IS BRILLIANT!!!!! Not only is Sally completely outstanding at her job, but she always works the best she can just to see you improve and succeed!! Even out of hours! I have dropped her a few last minute messages before live performances and she is amazing!!!!! She will always make sure YOU are satisfied and happy with what you are doing and comfortable. I have had many singing teachers in my short time and I will never have another! Sally is so kind, respectful and warm-hearted, I always feel excited for my lessons as every session is different. I have even formed a great bond with this lady she has also helped me grow as a person. I now sing at live venues, thanks to her contribution! And all she always wants is to see her students do well. I definitely recommend this wonderful singing teacher. My voice has completely changed and improved tremendously!!

I’ve had lessons with sally for 4 years now and I can honestly say that she is incredible, in my lessons I have learnt how to strengthen my voice through different vocal techniques, how to look after my voice when I’m ill or tired, the science and anatomy behind singing (I’m obsessed) and how to overcome mental blocks and confidence issues! These have all come together over the last 4 years to create the voice I have today which seemed impossible 4 years ago, These skills, especially the confidence ones have helped me in so many ways and I just couldn’t tell you in words how grateful I am to have a teacher that cares not only about my vocal well being but also my mental well being alongside that! I can not recommend sally enough as she is kind, considerate, hard-working and truly cares about each and every one of her students!

"Having singing lessons with Sally has been a life changing thing. For many years music has been my passion. I’ve written music but only really ever played my songs for my parents. I remember being told if you can’t sing well naturally there is no point in having lessons and I took this to heart. After a difficult time I decided to make music a bigger part of my life and sought out singing lessons with Sally. I soon learnt the myriad of techniques people can use to improve their voice. 5 years later and I now have a whole register I wasn’t even using, hitting notes I never dared try and understand almost instinctively now how to control my voice and make the sounds I want. This has been huge for me. But the biggest improvement I have seen is my confidence. I remember being petrified to open my mouth. Because of Sally’s lessons and courses I have: joined a vocal group, sang collectively at gigs, played at her student showcase, performed regularly at open mic nights and finally performed at victorious festival. Sally teaches technique brilliantly but also is part counsellor. part promoter and part social media guru. She’s helped me launch myself online, record in a studio and continue my song writing. So as I said life changing. Without her I would still be sat in my room writing songs for no one to hear but because of her I share my passion for music whenever I have the opportunity. I started taking some vocal sessions with Sally as I had almost completely lost my voice after a lot of gigging not looking after myself and a hen weekend in Ibiza . Sally was amazing and managed to get my vocals back in a good condition . She taught me a variety of exercises for different situations for example when I could barely speak or to just strengthen my vocals . Her cds are great and well worth buying . Literally feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders after my vocal session with Sally. For months now i have been struggling vocally, mainly due to some medical problems. But I have lost so much power and strength and for a singer that is one of the most scary things! Knowing now that it's mainly because I have overprotected my vocals - backed away from anything that I felt was out of my comfort zone because I thought I was doing the right thing. To get given the reassurance today that its actually ok and easy to correct what I have done and get back what I've lost has been the biggest relief! Check out Sally Salmon she works magic!

I’ve been having singing lessons with Sally since I finished my degree in 2018 and in a one hour lesson I learnt more about vocal technique and anatomy than I did in three years of studying music performance. She is super welcoming and made sure to check in with me throughout our first lesson to make sure I was doing ok! I’ve been fortunate enough to have been given a number of opportunities through Sally over the years, to help develop not only my voice but also confidence and knowledge. With one of my main goals to start teaching, Sally created the chance for me to be a Sing Safe volunteer at UVG and shadow her during one to one sessions in the group. Allowing me to get some hands on teacher training before diving head first into it. This has been immensely helpful in growing my confidence in this area as I now have a better understanding of how to use different techniques safely and to help solve different problems! Not only this but I can not fault her as a teacher and vocal coach as she is there every step of the way to help you reach your goals whatever they maybe, whether you are looking to technically level up, perfect your dream song, perform at your very first gig or recording your promotional material. She such a loving, kind and caring person and wants the very best for each and every student she has!

Sally has saved my vocals on so many occasions! She’s fun, knowledgeable, kind and genuinely cares about her students. I’ve been suffering with a constant cold since Xmas and had some vocal damage after a gig a couple of weeks ago. I was pretty worried about it BUT I had just a short session with Sally on Monday where we looked at what was wrong and how to improve it. Just a few minutes with her and some great exercises later and BOOM, I had a clear gig last night. And tonight’s teaching wasn’t a strain at all either. Please, I can’t recommend her enough. A great ‘go-to’ teacher for any little niggling issues, ways to keep your vocals healthy and great exercises to help improve your voice. Give Sally a shout for regular or one off sessions specifically designed to help improve the health of your voice. She’s helped me in only 20 minutes!

I've been lucky enough to attend Sally's Singing workshops after my lovely fiance bought them for me as a gift. I was incredibly nervous and worried I would he out of my depth. Well I couldn't have been more wrong!
Not only is Sally incredibly welcoming and supportive, but her groups have an amazing sense of inclusivity regardless of experience or knowledge. I started vocal lessons with Sally almost five years ago now. My mum reached out to Sally after discovering her website, as she was concerned about my lack of musical involvement and lack of confidence. Sally instantly made me feel welcome and comfortable, enabling a safe and friendly environment for us to work in. Sally helped me to develop my vocal ability, lack of confidence and understanding of vocal health and vocal performance. Sally has prepared me for a number of auditions and has helped me to plan and prepare for a gig. Having attended Sally's Ultimate Singer's Masterclass, I couldn't have found it more interesting, comprehensive and fun! Before Covid 19 hit, I thought things in my singing career were going really well. I had just been published in the WI speakers book of recommended speakers, giving talks in Opera and I was getting regular gigs as well as working part time in retail. When lock down happened all my gigs for the foreseeable future were cancelled overnight it seemed and I was furloughed too. I am an optimistic person and the first thing I wanted to do was try and make the best of this situation and use it as an opportunity to look at new avenues of income going forward. I had dabbled in teaching in the past but never felt confident doing it and thought now might be a time to get some training as it was something that I could do via video media, pandemic or not. I remembered meeting Sally along time ago, I thought she really knew her stuff and was very encouraging. She has a huge presence on Facebook and seemed the ‘go to’ person for help with singing. so thought I would cheekily ask if she could train me to teach. I was delighted when she said yes and that she had been working on a teaching syllabus for teacher training and that she would design a teaching program around me and what I wanted to achieve. Firstly in just 5 weeks. Sally has given me an identity. For many years I’ve always been uncomfortable with being an opera singer as I was worried it put some people off booking me for gigs. Sally made me see that I was an Opera singer and to embrace it to get the right gigs. She has not only helped me with teaching, she has also helped me with branding and confidence which has seen my Facebook following increase greatly and my Live performances much more streamlined. She has given me so much belief in myself and a whole new outlook going forward that I can really do it. I have learned about safeguarding and I’ve even got a DBS check. Sally has also coached me through real singing lessons to give me practical experience. I chose Sally because she knew her stuff. What I got was far more than that. Sally is a coach and a mentor, she always has time for you and her door is always open. It’s like having a big sister (although she is much younger than me) guiding me and helping me be the best I can be. Thank you sally

I can not sing Sallys praises more, she's amazing. I have nearly finished 8 week masterclass course. it's amazing meeting so many amazing singers, with the same passion as me, learning how individually we can improve on our vocals. I sing in a choir, Gospel rd choir, which I love, but my dream is to do solo gigs. I never had the confidence to, but I do now, thanks to Sally. I have sung since i was 5, my mum putting me in talent shows, as had no fear, I dont have fear, but confidence is a different thing with me, believing in myself. I actually think I can do this now, and to perform is what I was born to do, I am someone else when I sing . And Sally has bought this out in me so Thankyou Sally, I will continue with lessons 💖💖💖

Sally taught my daughter in one to one singing lessons initially with the primary focus to get my daughter ready for an audition. Sally’s advice and direction regarding song choice was perfect whilst never compromising vocal health. After the audition my daughter carried on lessons as she loved them so much and we could see (hear) the improvements. Sally’s lessons were great fun and focused. Genuinely cannot recommend this page enough. Sally is doing an amazing job and the talent on here is second to none. I struggle massively with confidence when it comes to live singing and recording videos to post in online forums. Sally has created a safe space for musicians to post their recordings and she makes us feel comfortable enough to share and know that we won’t be judged. Personally, I stopped loving singing nearly 2 years ago however the weekly challenges and daily vocal techniques have helped me to reignite my passion and slowly start sharing again ❤️ Thank you sooooo much Sally and the kindness of of the group members

I've been having lessons with Sally for a year now, and thoroughly enjoy them. I used to sing in the school choir (some considerable time ago now!) and was more than a little rusty, but Sally has helped me develop my voice beyond what I thought I was ever capable of. My vocal confidence has also grown, and Sally has encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try vocal techniques I wouldn't have otherwise tried - I've even done an open mic session which I would never have done before!! Lessons with Sally are relaxed, fun, often challenging and sometimes exhausting, but I always feel like I've learnt and achieved something. I've also attended some of her workshops, which are friendly and informative, and have helped me to develop my signing technique further. I would recommend Sally to anybody who is thinking of having singing lessons - I'm certainly glad I did!!
