The Contemporary Voice Academy was founded by singing and voice teacher Sally Salmon. Sally wanted to create an academy which could offer you all the tools and services you need to build your voice and your career as a singer. Taking you from technical training through to branding, business building and so much more. So whether you want to be a singer, teacher or performer let us help you!
At The Contemporary Voice Academy, you come first. It’s about your goals and aspirations, and we are here to help make them a little easier to obtain. It’s not about promising to make you famous or make you a star. Its about providing you with realistic and obtainable careers within the music industry, sure we will encourage you to strive for your ultimate goals, but we will also help you build sustainable careers in an area you love!

Our ethos is to provide quality services tailored for you as an individual, too many companies and studios nationwide only think of you as a number or as a source of income with TCVA you will only be offered services which are helpful to your development and interests. Sally created The Contemporary Voice Academy to help protect singers on the South Coast from being exploited.
After teaching one to one lessons for singers in the area for over 12 years, she heard first hand the worries that local singers had. The terrible and costly experiences they had trusting the wrong people, people who were only interested in the singers money and not their enjoyment or benefits from the services they provided.
Unlike others we don’t charge a monthly fee to keep you on our books, If we have space to accept you as a student at The Contemporary Voice Academy we will work hard to keep costs to a minimum to ensure you receive value for money, depending on the service we may charge hourly fees, or there may be a discounted bundle available to you for a collection of services.
